COASTSWEEP 2008: HELP KEEP OUR BEACHES CLEAN!
Now is your chance to give back to the special place you treasure and protect marine life from hazardous debris.
What: 21th Annual Massachusetts COASTSWEEP
When: Saturday, September 20; 10am-noon
Where: Covell’s Beach (off of Craigville Beach Road in Centerville)
Rain or shine! Trash bags, gloves, report cards, and refreshments will be provided. Please respond to this email if you’d like to join a Nantucket Soundkeeper clean-up crew! COASTSWEEP is the yearly, statewide beach clean-up project sponsored by the Massachusetts Office of Coastal Zone Management, coordinated by the Urban Harbors Institute and UMASS Boston.
