sand in our shoes

Been gone for almost two business weeks.

It will take some times to catch up. Got several messages about ACLU and other foolishness amidst the legitimate issues.

Our docks and piers ban and harbor management study issue will be postponed till our next meeting because the planning board didn’t have a quorum at their last meeting.  We have several other important issues tonight including the first readings for this round of Community Preservation Fund applications approved by The Community Preservation Committee and recommended to the council.

The meeting that will offer public hearings on these items will be March 27th. We have had little to know Internet on this trip, and what seemed like a hassle at first became a blessing. But now there is a lot of catching up to do!

  2. Janet, were the Red Sox pictures taken in Fort Myers? My Dad works for the team when they are in spring training. If you go down there again let me know and I will get you in for a tour of the park.

  3. Yes the baseball pics were taken in Fort Myers – we went to the Twins stadium first day – we were able to get great seats behind homeplate and watch up close and personal. The next day we watched a “home” game from a little farther away, but there are no bad seats.
We have been going to see spring training games for a few years now. I’ll be checking in with you next year!
