I have cut and pasted an article from the Wall Street Journal below about predatory lenders and the system that allows the mortgage companies, banks, and real estate companies that take dreams and transform them into nightmares should be tarred and feathered.
FORCLOSURES - WHO IS AT FAULT?
Our local critics have often thrown the current foreclosure statistics at us in town government as some sort of issue for which we are responsible. I have family members and close friends who have either retired from, or are selling real estate in different places from here to California. RE agents often give advice regarding financing for the purchases of homes.
