Cheap Shots and White Tents

Pretty Boy A-Rod demonstrates the cheap shotLast night the Yankee’s pretty boy gave us a demonstration of baseball’s version of the cheap shot. A clear elbow to Dustin Pedroia to avoid an out was not picked up by the umps, and of course the instant-replay -game-delay still belongs to the NFL, so the film of the incident just shows all of us that cheap shots can still work in baseball.  And, in an interesting turn, even some of the NY papers are calling it a cheap shot.

What is accomplished with cheap shots?  Continue reading Cheap Shots: Local Bloggers and A-Rod enjoy a lot in common!!…

Tents by the sea? There MUST be a conspiracy here!

May 16, 2007 at 6:53 pm | In cape cog, capeCOG, capecog.com | 1 Comment

Stealthy in their steps, the king of pajamas’ jesters are skulking and snapping photos of the latest council conspiracy. Panoramic shots of the frame for a large tent on the parking lot across from Craigville Beach were presented to me yesterday, with the suggestion that we need to consider zoning changes…..

And, apparently once again the king o’ pj’s must be sipping the joy juice while he types his conspiracy theories for all the court jesters to read, as he is suggesting that this large tent is here for the summer!

update:  no one wanted to take the odds – apparently the king and his jesters throw tomatoes from the Internet, but never become a part of the process… they don’t attend these meetings!

hmmmmm – why not take part in the process? Why not actually give public testimony when such testimony would become a part of the record?  Is this what they call “mob(ster)” mentality?  Yikes! And, these guys are organizing a charter commission? What happens in their world of mobsters and mayors? You disgree, you lose a kneecap?

Yelling and screaming and threatening — it gets to the point where no one listens anymore!Well, none of those who insist on screaming and yelling and ranting and raving at the town about this and that “illegal purchase of the water company” or illegal land-use” or “illegal blocking of their first amendment rights to disrupt a meeting and violate state laws” or “illegal permitting” or illegal left turns, parking or whatever they threaten to sue the town for today… none of those nay-saying gadflies took the time to buzz into the water company rate hearing to put their rants and raves on the record.
